Oberlin’s newest park and the only dog park is located at 711 W. Ash St. Tails a Waggin’ Dog Park was conceived and built by a dedicated group of DOG LOVERS as an addition to Oberlin’s service community! The park is open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Dogs of all sizes are welcome to the park which features areas for large and small dogs, water, shade, and plenty of wide-open space!
City Park is conveniently located at the intersection of Commercial Street & Marks Avenue, right by Decatur Community High School and the city pool. Expansive green space surrounds the park's band shell, playground and picnic areas.
Centennial Park is located at the corner of Penn Avenue & Commercial Street on the beautiful brick streets of downtown Oberlin. The park's gazebo offers a shaded resting place where you can take in the atmosphere.
Sappa Park is located east of Oberlin north of Highway 36. The mile long road that winds north from Highway 36 to the shelter house is covered by a canopy of trees and surrounded by wildlife. The park contains many walking, hiking and biking trails, as well as a disc golf course and playground area. There are plenty of camping and picnic areas where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the park.
